Jokowi Meets Singapore PM Discussing Investment and Incentives

Nusa Dua - President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) claimed to have completed several investment cooperation with the Singapore government.

This was done directly by President Jokowi with Singapore Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong at the Annual Leaders Retreat.

"Welcome to the noble Lee in Bali, once again I am very happy to be able to meet PM Lee for the annual findings," Jokowi said at Laguna Hotel Nusa Dua, Bali, Thursday (11/10/2018).

In the meeting, Jokowi claimed to have completed several investment agreements, such as regional industrial development in Kendal, Central Java.

"For economic cooperation, with regard to investment, we have talked about Kendal investment, the progress is very good and we hope that Indonesia can build industrial estates in Kendal in other provinces," Jokowi said.

In the development of the industry, Jokowi admitted that PM Lee requested fiscal facilitation such as a tax holiday or tax holiday.

"PM Lee also stated that the Kendal Industrial Estate needs special incentives, such as tax holidays," he said.
