BKPM Offers Chinese Investors to Invest in Kendal Industrial Estate, Manyar to Sei Mangkei

Industry.co.id - Jakarta, the Indonesian Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM) offered Chinese entrepreneurs investment in three industrial estates.
The three industrial estates are, Sei Mangkei in Simalungun District, North Sumatra Province; Manyar (Gresik Regency, East Java); and Kendal Industrial Area (Kendal Regency, Central Java).
The government will provide attractive incentives for investors who intend to build factories or other facilities in the three industrial zones.
"Indonesia is ranked ninth in the world that is considered safe, stable and reformist," said BKPM Director of Promotion and Regional Facilities, Nurul Ichwan, to hundreds of potential investors in Guangzhou on Monday (10/15/2018) night.
In addition, according to him, Indonesia's index as the easiest country to do business in the Southeast Asia region also rose from 91 in 2017 to 72 in 2018.
"Therefore, we invite investors from China to invest in Indonesia," Nurul said in a business forum facilitated by the Indonesian Consulate General in Guangzhou and the UOB Bank in one of the hotels in the Guangdong Provincial Capital.
The Republic of Indonesia Consul General for Guangzhou Gustant said that now is the right time for Chinese investors to invest in Indonesia. Because the government continues to update policies that facilitate foreign investment that guarantees legal certainty.
"I am sure that Chinese investors will increase their investment in Indonesia because investment opportunities are increasingly wide open," he said.
Meanwhile, Guangdong Province's Vice Chairman of Kadin and International Trade Promotion (CCPIT) Fan Xilin was willing to help promote investment from BKPM in Indonesia's industrial estates.
"Indonesia is the most important trading partner for Guangdong Province," he said.
The trade value of Guangdong Province with Indonesia in 2017 has reached 13.395 billion US dollars.
