The presence of the Kendal Industrial Park (KIP) as a Special Economic Zone is not only attractive to global investors, but also strengthens local workers' access to quality employment opportunities in various industrial sectors. This commitment is realized through KIP's participation in the Yogyakarta Grand Job Fair 2025, which will take place on September 17-18, 2025, at the W.R. Supratman Auditorium Building, UPN Veteran Yogyakarta, featuring hundreds of companies from various sectors and thousands of job seekers from various regions.

On this occasion, KIP presented more than a few business players, ranging from the automotive, electronics, fashion, and other industries. Through the participation of these businesses, KIP has opened more than 800 job vacancies for various positions, ranging from production operators and administrative staff to skilled technicians and managerial positions. The participation of businesses from the KIP is clear evidence that the area is not only a magnet for investment, but also a driver of job creation that provides broad benefits to the community.

Executive Director of KIP, Juliani Kusumaningrum, emphasized that the region's participation in this event is an important way for KIP to match the needs of modern industry with competent local workers. "Kendal Industrial Park is not only a magnet for investment, but also committed to providing quality jobs. Through our participation in this job fair, we aim to reach the best talent not only from Yogyakarta but also from all over Central Java," she said.

As an industrial park that has been designated as a Special Economic Zone, KIP is strategically positioned to attract global investment and create demand for workers with diverse skills. Recruitment activities through job fairs are a step toward expanding local workers' access to job opportunities in the international standard industrial sector. In addition, KIP's involvement also paves the way for closer synergy with the world of education and vocational institutions, so that the skills possessed by graduates can be aligned with the ever-evolving needs of the industry.

More than just opening job vacancies, the participation of KIP tenants in Yogyakarta  Job Fair 2025 reflects the multiplier effect of the existence of the KIP. The job opportunities created not only expand access for job seekers, but also ensure the continuity of the industrial ecosystem in the region. This also demonstrates the role of the KIP as a stimulator of economic growth.

Going forward, the demand for labor in KIP is projected to continue to increase in line with expansion and the influx of new investment from various industrial sectors. This certainly opens up greater opportunities for local talent to join modern industries with international standards while strengthening the region's contribution to regional and national economic growth.
