This production facility marks an important milestone in the international expansion of its parent company, Qingdao Hiron Commercial Cold Chain Co., Ltd, which is well known as a manufacturer of commercial refrigeration equipment with a global distribution network originating in China.

This production facility was built to support the development, production, and commercial Cold Chain (cooling equipment) services that are increasingly needed by various sectors, including FMCG and modern retail. Hiron products are currently exported to six continents around the world, covering dozens of countries and regions, with a strong reputation for providing cooling solutions that focus on specialization, differentiation, and customization.

The grand opening ceremony was attended by government officials, including Kendal Regent Dyah Kartika Permanasari, a number of department heads from Kendal Regency and Central Java Province, as well as the Kendal SEZ Administrator. The presence of these government officials reaffirmed the government's support for the development of modern manufacturing industries in Kendal.

Dyah Kartika Permanasari believes that the operation of the Hiron factory has contributed significantly to regional economic growth. She emphasized that investments such as this strengthen Kendal's position as an area capable of attracting global industry while also creating new job opportunities for the community.

As the first overseas production base, the Hiron factory in Kendal was built to strengthen the company's global supply chain and increase service capacity for consumers in various countries. Hiron Holding CEO Mr. Shao Wei emphasized through the company's policy direction that the presence of this facility is an important step in Hiron's globalization journey. The company's focus is on providing superior commercial cooling solutions, maintaining craftsmanship standards, and continuing to create greater value for customers in various countries. This is in line with the company's long-term development strategy.

Juliani Kusumaningrum, Executive Director of KIP, said that Hiron's presence adds value to industrial development in the region. “Hiron's presence further complements the technology-based industrial ecosystem at KIP. Manufacturers of electronic and cooling equipment, such as Hiron, play an important role in creating an interconnected industrial chain in the region and expanding the diversification of the rapidly growing manufacturing sector in Kendal,” she said.

With the opening of this factory, KIP now boasts 135 companies from a variety of sectors and countries. Currently, more than 50 of these companies are already in operation. Hiron's presence certainly strengthens the region's position as a centre for technological growth and modern manufacturing in Central Java.
